My passion for makeup began at a young age, with a Girls World, far too many eyeshadows and lipsticks, and stacks of makeup books and magazines piled high in my bedroom! I was always experimenting, creating and playing with makeup, and luckily I had a willing model in my younger sister. After all, isn’t that what younger sisters are for! Thanks, Katy.

That early fascination with makeup grew into a career spanning more than 30 years in the beauty industry.

My creative and artistic flair opened the door to an exciting opportunity with MAC Cosmetics, where I received extensive professional training and was fortunate enough to meet one of MAC’s founders, Frank Angelo. I also had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading names, including David Horne and Terry Barber, and to be involved in some incredible fashion shows and creative projects.

In 2001, I took the leap and started my own freelance makeup business. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented photographers, hairdressers and creative teams, as well as looking after more than 1,300 wonderful brides.

My approach to makeup has always been about enhancing rather than masking. Every makeup look I create is individual, carefully considered and designed to make you feel confident, comfortable and completely yourself , whether that’s for your wedding day, a special occasion or simply because you want to learn how to make the most of your own features.

Alongside my freelance makeup artistry, I am a Regional Sales & Education Manager for delilah, an award-winning British beauty brand, as well as an official delilah stockist. I’ve been using delilah in my professional kit since 2014 and became an official stockist in 2022. Affectionately known as the “delilah Queen of Glow”, I have a particular passion for beautiful, natural-looking complexion and glowing makeup.

My role with delilah takes me around the country, supporting luxury salons, spas and independent retailers through product demonstrations, makeup masterclasses and professional education.

I also offer personalised one-to-one makeup lessons and masterclasses, sharing the knowledge and techniques I’ve gathered throughout my career to help women feel confident creating their own makeup looks.
