The May Wedding of Kim & Dan @ East Riddlesden Hall.

Kim & Dan’s May Wedding was the first weekend in May and my busiest weekend of the year with three weddings booked in and three trial consultations. This was the start of a very busy but most enjoyable summer and what a beautiful bride to mark the start of the wedding season.

Kim & Dan were married at Saltaire United Reformed Church and the wedding reception took place in the Airedale Barn in the grounds of East Riddlesden Hall.

I created a defined style of eye makeup on Kim, with false lashes, nude lid, taupe eyeshadow in the crease and aubergine kohl pencil on the waterline.
Mac studio fix foundation was applied to keep Kim’s skin matte throughout the day. This  is an oil-controlling formula that offers a natural matte finish with medium to full coverage and with it being a May Wedding as any bride would hope for the sun was shining!

It’s always exciting when I can use a burst of of colour on the lips, so to complement Kim’s wonderful May Wedding flower bouquet I chose the New Cid Plumberry lipstick.  This is a beautiful lipstick which contains the moisture magnet hyaluronic acid, it keeps the lips hydrated and comfortable all day and, gives the ultimate colour pay off that lasts for hours.

Kim’s hair was styled by the lovely Emily Hawkes.

Fabulous photos  and a big thank you to Sam Houghton  a wedding and portrait photographer based in Derby and Nottingham.

“Thank you once again for applying the most stunning make up on me and my Mum. We are very thankful and it felt so comfortable all day. I was so pleased with it and I know my Mum was too, It made her feel so confident when it came to the camera’s as she normally shies away from photos. You are super talented!” Kim x
