2017The Wedding of Hannah and Elliot, May 2017 @ Ripley Castle, North Yorkshire
The first weekend in May is always one of my busiest and this year I had three weddings which I was very lucky to be involved with and makeup for a Ripley Castle Wedding is always very special and a lovely way to end a very busy week!
So, let’s talk about the gorgeous Hannah who is a beauty therapist in Harrogate and has a true understanding of the importance of a good skincare routine. This of course involves cleansing twice a day, toning, exfoliating, moisturising and deep cleansing with a suitable mask or facial once/twice a week. When following a thorough skincare regime the skin becomes glowing, supple and polished and this just makes the world of difference when applying makeup. Thank you to Hannah for taking such good care of your skin and making my job so much easier, as you will see in the photos Hannah’s skin is absolute perfection!
Hannah is also a fully trained/qualified Microblading Artist -check out her page here.
I used a variety of brands of makeup; Charlotte Tilbury, MAC and NARS to create a natural and elegant style of makeup perfect for a Ripley Castle Wedding.
I was very excited to use a recent purchase on Hannagh – the Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Glow Instant Look in a Palette. This collection was inspired by Poppy Delevingne’s wedding makeup and is full of rose-gold, bronze tones for the face and eyes. The HD ready formula’s mean you look gorgeous and glowing in photographs as well as real-life and ideal if you want flattering, bronzed, radiant makeup – perfect for bridal makeup. These colours worked a treat against Hannah’s striking blue eyes – anything with an earthy coloured undertone is fabulous against blue eyes and makes the whites of the eyes crystal clear.
A big thank you to Leeds based Photographer: Chris Thornton for the use of these fab photos.
