Celebrity of the week: Scarlett Johansson

This make-up oozes classic Hollywood glamour – retro winged eyes, glowing skin, sculpted brows and creamy pale lips.

Classic Hollywood Glamour make-up

To achieve this stunning make-up, after moisturizing and priming, apply a buildable creamy foundation, I love MAC Studio Sculpt it is a creamy, luxurious, gel-based foundation and provides medium to high coverage with a satin finish.

To create Scarlett’s retro winged eye, use a true black liquid liner like Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner  Use the liner applicator to draw a thin line from the inner corner of your eye. Once you get to the center of your eye gradually make the line thicker.

To find the correct angle for your winged swoop, line up a pencil from the outer corner of your eye to the outer corner of your eyebrow. Then, from the outer corner of the eye, draw a line following that angle (for Scarlett’s look, make this line about ¼ of an inch).

Next, connect the tip of the line with the top corner of the liner along your lash line to create a triangle shape. Fill in the shape with the liquid liner. Make sure you have some cotton buds and eye make-up remover handy!

To create Scarlett’s glowing cheeks use Laura Mercier ‘s Creme Blush  in ‘Oleander’. It’s sheer, velvety texture adds a healthy dose of colour while allowing your skin to shine through. Apply with finger tips over the apple of the cheeks in upward strokes along the cheekbone.

Finally fill the lips in with my all time favourite lipstick MAC Creme Cup.
