It is essential that a pre-wedding consultation is arranged prior to your wedding day. This is an ideal opportunity for you and your bridesmaids/mum to learn more about your skin and the products available for your skin types. By understanding your skin type, you are half way to a glowing healthy complexion. Time and time again I meet ladies who have been using unsuitable skincare products. It is only when the correct products are used that the make-up can then be effective.

Flowers, colour theme, dress, bridesmaids and the overall style and theme of the wedding will be discussed in order to create a make-up look which will define and refine your features as well as enhancing your natural beauty. Following this your make-up will be applied. When you are 100% satisfied with the look created, all the products used will be recorded ready for the Big Day.

Balance and simplicity is the key to a beautiful make-up.

The make-up brands that I use are especially suitable for photographic work and therefore have maximum staying power and will minimise shine, while still giving a very natural look.

The pre-wedding consultation usually lasts between one and two hours and all my clients find it to be a very enjoyable part of the pre-marital pampering.

On the day of your wedding I will arrive at your home or venue at the pre-arranged time. The bridesmaids' and mother of the bride's make-up is usually applied first, which will take approximately 30 minutes each. Once the bridal hair has been styled then the bridal make-up will begin.

The look that was created at the pre-wedding consultation will then be applied. This is an hour of your morning when you can sit back, relax and enjoy what will be the most special day of your life.

The key to great looking make-up is the art of discovering your best facial features, accentuating the positive and minimising the negative.

I will share with you my knowledge and technical skills of make-up application and will teach you step-by-step how to create a beautiful, flawless and unique make-up style.

If you are getting married abroad or you would prefer to apply your own make-up on the day then a make-up lesson is essential.

Make-up does look very different on photographs, there are certain textures and shades which should be avoided and others that look amazing when photographed. Remember your wedding photographs are with you for life and cannot be changed.

I will advise you on the correct skincare regime suitable for your skin type and can provide you with a selection of skincare products which can also be re-ordered at anytime.

A personally designed chart with a listing of all products used including a 'hints and tips' guide will be given to you following the make-up lesson.

The lesson will take approximately two hours and you will leave feeling confident about applying your own make-up.

As the morning of the wedding can often be a race against time, why not make it completely hassle-free and have a hairdresser come to you. After working in the industry for 12 years I know all too well how fast the morning of your wedding can pass and consider it essential to have an experienced wedding hairdresser on site.

I can recommend an exceptional hairdresser who has an extensive background in bridal hair styling. The styles that are created are truly beautiful and unique. A hair-styling trial is also recommended, which can be arranged on the same day as the pre-wedding make-up consultation.
