Introducing The MyShowcase Beauty Genie

MyShowcase Beauty Genie

The world of beauty can be overwhelming; Too much choice, Too many products, Too much information.  Often we end up buying products that don’t meet our needs. Sometimes we don’t even know what our needs actually are! After 7 years of working in a luxury department store I know just how daunting it is when you are searching for a new range of beauty products!

The MyShowcase Beauty Genie is a free, online consultation that gives you the power to quickly, easily and confidently find beauty products that truly match your skincare needs.

I have my personal firm favourites with MyShowcase, products which I know actually work for me, calm my ridiculously sensitive skin and give anti ageing benefits too! So, I decided to put the Genie to the test and the results were so precise and that is why I am spreading the word and sharing it with you.

So give it a try……………… click here to take the Genie

Enter code ‘GENIE’ at checkout to receive £5 off any order at MyShowcase. No Minimum spend. Valid until 30th June 2017.

The Wedding of Rebecca & Krzys @ The Crab & Lobster, Thirsk

Elegant Bridal makeup was created for the ever so stunning Rebecca – she really had true balletic beauty and we shared quite a few stories about our dancing days!

The style of makeup I created for Rebecca was structured and defined with a smoky eyeshadow only covering the lid and plenty of eye liner to define the upper and lower lashline and to compliment the false lashes.

No amount of contouring was required (not that I am a huge fan of contouring anyway!).  Rebecca had naturally beautifully sculpted cheeks and high cheekbones so I applied a splash of blush on the cheeks with the Hourglass Highlighting Powder and that was just enough.

It was a pleasure as always to work alongside Emily Hawkes Hair.

Many Thanks to Yorkshire Based Riff Raff Photography

The Wedding of Sophie & Joe @ The Bridge Hotel, Wetherby, West Yorkshire

Well radiance was certainly oozing from Sophie on her wedding morning as you will see from these gorgeous photos. Thank you to Howard Barnett Photography.

Sophie’s make up was glamorous and sophisticated –  the Charlotte Tilbury Wedding Glo Palette was  used on Sophies amazing eyes with fluttery false lashes and lots of definition against the lash lines – top and bottom.

Sophie’s skin was absolutely flawless, a sheer matte  Nars base was used along with a powder base blush to give a natural flush of colour on the cheeks and a powder based highlighter.

I used a Face Stockholm Cream lipstick which is a richly pigmented cream lipstick with a satin finish – the shade used was the bestseller ‘Alive‘.

Thank you for these kind words Sophie: “Absolutely loved my wedding day make up by Louise, it lasted all day and night and I had so many compliments! As did bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride. Can’t recommend enough – fab! Thank you so much xxx”

The Wedding of Lucy & Will, October 2016 @ The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa, Yorkshire Dales

The drive to the Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa on a beautiful Autumn day is certainly most impressive. This Award Winning  Yorkshire Hotel & Spa Set is set in 1400 acres of beautiful rolling Dales countryside and really is quite breathtaking.

Lucy’s hair was styled by the ever so talented Emily Hawkes.

Lucy was incredibly beautiful to make up with her strong elegant features and a creamy perfect skin. The overall look was very classic with smoky dark eyes and creamy porcelain skin – Stunning!

Many thanks to  Hayley Baxter Photography for these fabulous  photos.

The Wedding of Kelly and Bradley, July 2016 @ Allerton Castle, North Yorkshire

The gorgeous Kelly………..

How lovely it was to arrive at Rudding Park on a perfect  July summer’s morning and to be able to set up my work station on the terrace outside Kelly’s suite with the sun shining! I did the make-up for Kelly’s Mum, Sister and cousin then packed up and headed over to Allerton Castle, one of England’s most elegant and illustrious gothic revival stately homes to do Kelly’s make-up, and my goodness what a true beauty she was.

Neutral, warm tones were used on Kelly’s eyes and smudged lightly under the eyes to keep the style fresh and natural.  MAC Dollymix blush was swept lightly over Kelly’s cheeks to create a natural flush. Lips were light and glossy with New CID i-Gloss Light-Up Lip Gloss in Tickled Pink, this is such a pretty shade for bridal makeup and it is such cute packaging with its light and mirror.

Massive Thanks to Bloom Weddings for capturing these beautiful images.
